AI Research Intern
We are seeking a motivated AI Research Intern to join our team developing cutting-edge methods for target safety intelligence.

About the role
(3-6 month fixed term)
The role involves working on one of three defined projects, with some of the following areas of focus:
Develop and implement machine learning models for biological data analysis
Work on specialized NLP models for processing scientific literature
Contribute to our Python-based development pipeline
Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team of biologists and engineers
Help translate complex model outputs into interpretable insights
Document and present findings to the wider team and externally
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn, can work independently, and have a strong interest in applying AI to healthcare challenges.
Required qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related biomedical field.
Strong programming skills in Python
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
Solid foundation in machine learning concepts
Good communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Ability to work in a collaborative environment
Nice to have:
Experience with NLP or language models
Background or interest in biomedical sciences
Experience working with scientific or healthcare data
Experience with version control (Git)
